October 16th. 2009, Valeska & Family

The weatherman was predicting a serious cold front with water spouts and heavy wind and rain. . Valeska decided to go ahead with the birthday celebration of her Mother and her aunt.
There was about 20 knots of wind from the west . So I raised the mizzen and the staysail and we were on a run leaving the Marina.
The weather was much better than the prediction. In fact I dared to rais the Yankee during the trip. We got home without a drop of rain.
Here is what Chris and Valeska wrote in the log:
"Weather was iffy, but Captain Asaad played it safe and did a great job. We Had a blast, highly recommended for anyone. We will be back again, Chris Hubart"

" I chartered the sailboat for my mother and aunt's birthdays, they loved it and I had a great experience. I also brought my immediate family & all of them kept telling me how relaxing and beautiful memory it was for them, Valeska facques & Family"

October 12th, 2009, Joe Kazarnousky & Family

Joe and his sons came from New York, the two grand children came from Canada to enjoy a day of sailing on our Great Biscayne Bay. The weather was just what we needed, 10-12 Knots, from the east, Partly sunny calm bay. I was so happy to realise that Joe has been an arm charie sailor with a lot of knowledg and interest in sailing, however it was his first tnme aboard a sailing vessel. He wanted to decipher the Magjc of sailing. It truely gave  me a great pleasure to teach him about the points of saile and tacking and Jibing etc. Every body took part in running the ship, from raising and lowering the sails to taking the helm. Here is what Joe wrote in the log:
"Magnificent trip with a great Captain. Sailing is now in our blood

It was a pure pleasure ! the sea, the sky the wind and God, Joe, Aari, Dan, Zeve, Charles and Jodah"

October 10th, 2009, Antonio Lobato, Columbus Day

Denise and Tony were here from Rio de Janero, and their daughter Samantha was here from Boston to enjoy a day on our great Biscayne Bay. They got my name from my friend Luciana Berreto who could not join us for that great sailing day. The weather could not have been better. We started with the main, Mizzen and Yankee' on our way back we raised the staysail too.Here is what Samantha wrote in the log:
"Captain Asaad, Thank you very much for the amazing trip. We learned a lot. The cruise was very pleasant, It was like we fell into a dream. You were very helpful and your know how to make the trip delightful. This was a special day ! Columbus week end in Miami is always inspiring, Thank you again, Antonio, Denise and Samantha. It was a pleasure"

October 3rd. 2009, Brian Barakat

Brian  found my donated trip at a Coral agables chamber of commerce event. He decided to buy it and share the adventure aboard the RA on our great Biscayne Bay with his lovely Wife Michelle and his friend Frank and wife Adriana.
It was a beautful day with gentle breeze and plenty of sun, we had all the sails up and we all had a great time/ Here is what Michelle wrote in the log:
