Captain Asaad made getting a year older more tolerable with his generous birthday present of a sunset and full moon rise sail. The sun was not as cooperative as I might have liked but we did get some beautiful sky colors. Venus and Jupiter followed the sun to the horizon. The moon put on an exquisite show after slight cloud cover. My friends from University of Maryland Dental School Howie and Judy Hoffman were on board to enjoy the perfect weather and wind with us. My apologies to my other guests who were unable to enjoy the evening due to my tendency to never plan anything until the last minute.
